To become an ICE Program Participant, you must first apply. Applications are accepted throughout the year. Upon receipt of your application, ICE will contact you to arrange for an interview. Once your application is accepted, you'll be required to prepare a number of pre and post program assignments.

Student's awarded a position in the ICE Program, will receive an ICE Program Participant Packet, which provides a general program orientation and an outline and list of deadlines for the pre and post program written assignments. NOTE: ICE reserves the right to withdraw any student from the Program who does not comply with all assignments and deadlines. Once accepted, ICE immediately begins coordinating a Student's internship, and helps prepare the Student for an experience of a life time!

Eligibility & Requirements

Nationality	All nationalities are welcome to apply
Age	At the time of departure between 18~30 years.
Academic Standing	Full-time student (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate) at accredited U.S. college or university.
Language Skill	For jobs requiring a foreign language, applicants must have completed, with a B or higher, at least one year of college-level instruction in the host country language prior to departure.
Availability	Applicants must be available to work during the summer months. Some positions require a 10 - 12 months time commitment.
Assignments	The Student, upon being awarded placement in the ICE Program, must submit a 5-page paper of intent; learn job related vocabulary; become acquainted with current events in the U.S. and host country, write a letter of introduction to the employer as well as a 10-page pre-departure paper on the host-country; and, summarize the actual experience in a 15-page final report.
